Uniform & Team History: The Rockets played in the Class C Longhorn League. Bauman won the triple crown in 1954 with an eye-popping  72 home runs, a .400 average and 228 runs driven in. His home run record stood as the most ever hit by a professional player until Barry Bonds swatted 73 in 2001.

Oldtime Game History: Nick Tempesta of Eastern Connecticut State College, was the first to wear this uniform when oldtime uniforms were added to The Game. Tempesta made a number of dazzling plays at shortstop in the '98 Game, and was eventually drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays . . . who made him a catcher.
