Uniform & Team History: The long-time New England scout wore No. 21 when he broke into the big leagues with the Chicago Cubs.

Oldtime Game History: This uniform was added to our collection in 1999 when Lennie joined the Oldtime Baseball Game as a coach. He had asked for No. 21, as it was one of the numbers he wore during his playing days with the Cubs. Lennie wore the uniform in 1999, 2000 and 2001, and in 2002 it was worn by Lennie's grand-nephew, Chris Merullo of Curry College. Lennie wanted the uniform to continue being worn by players, and it has. Beginning with the 2002 Oldtime Baseball Game, Lennie has worn a uniform that had been given to him by the Cubs for an oldtimers game at Wrigley Field.
