Two years before he made his major-league debut with the Red Sox, the future Splendid Splinter socked 23 homers and drove in 98 runs for the hometown San Diego Padres of the Pacific Coast League.

Oldtime Game History

Introduced to the Oldtime Baseball Game in 2009, it was first worn by Scott Isaacs, a producer at WCVB-TV (Channel 5) and a member of the Greater Boston Men's Senior Baseball League.
